Exactly. It will fly like the dickens with a "regular" .46-.50 and there is no reason not to do so if that will supply the "fix" you need. If one is on a budget then the temptation to plunk down the cash for a more exotic engine should probably be avoided. If cash is not a big problem, and you want a versatile and very powerful engine, grab a Jett .50. I don't know if it will supply same top end speed as the piped West .50 or not, but bear in mind many of the top speed claims for that combination are a bit exaggerated. I bet they are pretty close, likely more so with the SS muffler option on the Jett which is tuned for a bit higher rpm. MJD
