from what Ive read, the LST2 is worth its premium and much much more. for reference, the upgrade kit is 140$. soooo unless your getting the LST real cheap. almost everything they upgraded is things you'll want to have. some much more than others, but generally speaking, there are no "wasted" parts in the upgrade kit, so the lst2 is probably a good choice. only down side, the LST2 specific parts are a little spare on aftermarket support. but there are worse things in the world.
