My ideal monster truck would have a 1 speed tranny, a center diff, 1 suitable shock at each wheel, no electric starter but have a pull start mabey, and have diffs/drivetrain beefy enough to easily hold up to it's stock engine or engine with 20% more power. Monster truck crowd seems to be into more features the better. I think monster trucks need the least features of all cause of their heavy weight. And yes, we shouldnt have to "upgrade" our trucks to make them right. When the hobbyshop guy says there's an upgrade for a machine, I think "oh that means pay more money to fix the defect/enginering flaw that the manufacturer made. tisk tisk...
