RE: Which race body?
I really like the new Crowd Pleazer 2 bodies, but there aren't any made for the Savage. I also really like the LST2 version and I like it's size too. I thought about getting that one and trimming the wheelwells a bit to make it fit. Most bodies look kind of funny on the savage. It's between the Maxx/Revo and the LST in size, so either they look too small or too big. When I made my TVPs, I almost stretched them .75"-1" just so the 1:8 bodies would fit better.
The Parma X-citer is made to fit the Savage and it's .060 lexan like the Pro-line stuff. I like how swoopy it looks. I don't know, I might still go with the Crowd Pleazer 1...
I thought about just getting stupid and going with the Parma trash truck body, then writing "Salvage 25" on the side instead of "Savage 25". Kind of corny, but it's funny too.
