Hello,
the 250 mph "barrier" has already been broken using a glow powered prop plane. That took place in the 90s here in Germany within the objective 150 meters speed trap eliminating wind impact. That is inofficial world speed record. During the next German Speed Cup there will be similar straight horizontal line speeds.
You need a:
- well designed purpose built speed plane (full composite highly recommended)
- a super hot RIRE or FIRE speed engine (fully enclosed engine + pipe)
- the right sized carbon fibre speed prop
