yes i installed it and your right , the directions are vague. you take the tranny apart and you use all the parts in the tranny remove the eclip pull the gear off, install the 3 speed on the one way and put it back together.pm me if you need more help. if i remember correctly the lighten picture parts are the ones that you use.
