dont know they had titanium rims. but titanium is actually very heavy. and overkill in this situation.
plastic is really the lightest strongest material. but it flexes alot, where flex isnt acceptable next notch is CF, than aluminum. titanium is pretty well unbreakable, but itll add weight.
