I've got a machinist friend....
I was definately planning on having my friend who is a machinist make me some adapters for the engine. Do you think there might be a need for some of these? My friend has a side business making machined parts for R/C applications.
He makes great spinnernuts for the combat crowd - and especially for those that are getting into the SSC or "Nerf" combat. They use Magnum .15's that use a 5mm propshaft, so they need a spinnernut that can fit that propshaft. I've got one of his 1/4-28's spinnernuts on my Jett - its polished aluminum, and looks just great. All his spinnernuts are designed to fit the pink Sullivan starter cone like a glove.
Anybody that's interested in having parts or special projects done by this guy should email me, and I'll get you his name and email address. He's a full time machinist for a well known R/C products company.
