I remember going back a few years you had to get something called a"video capture card " for your 'puter, dont know what the go is nowadays for converting analogue imagery to avi or mpeg files etc, there is a photographics forum perhaps there is something better or easier nowadays.. I sort of lost interest in computer tech about then ..so thats all I can come up with ...sorry
