I've been a machinist most of my life. Owned a specialized machine shop for 12 years and sold it in 98. Used the proceeds to daytrade until 2001 when the market tanked (got out fine
). Took a year off to scuba dive the tropics around islands the pacific. Sure was weird not to work, always had since H.S 77'. Now I work for a company that makes portable machining equipment and on site machining services. For three years I was in the field machining on everything from refineries to reactors (ship and land) and some other pretty wild things. Now I'm "in house" in the R&D department. Getting the itch to start another business of my own, I can't go any farther at this company (the good-oldboy network and their kin at the top). If I start another business (not in machining[:'(])I may have to put the planes away for a while........hummm, a tough choice[&o],
