Top-Flight Contender
Nice choice for a second model. To the best of my knowledge it's the first design Dave Platt did for Top Flite when he came over from England. The design shows roots in control line stunt, expecially with that thick wing. The thick wing helps it slow down very nicely while remaining quite stable. It's and easy build being a flat wing, you just build it in one piece. The fuse is basically a box, again being very easy.
One modification that I have made is to flip the engine upside down. This gives the plane a MUCH nicer jet like appearance IMHO....most of all have fun with it! :-)
