I realize this thread is really old but today I ran across the answer to what the original question was: "Does anyone have plans for the Wright bros. plane? Is there a company that makes a kit?"

They're showing kits and plans for 1/12, 1/6, 1/4 scale and even 1/3 scale (by Special Order) for the Wright Flyer.
