There are two areas to fly in, separated by around 200 yards of dirt road.
Cyclic Hardover is the only one making any sense on this thread. That place is decidedly not a nice place to fly no matter how much closer to home. With known activity, no frequency control in place and you are a member of club someplace else. You are bending over and asking for trouble and I suspect it happens there with some degree of regularity. As far as blame, forget it at least you were aware of the danger choose to operate there anyway.
