RE: Wanted ultra light weight Y-Lead
I cut up regular extensions to custom make my wiring harnesses. I also did it for a small foamy to do just what you want to do, using lighter wire. Works in a pinch. And easier than crimping your own. UNLESS, its a really really small plane.
