I have a set of 5" Dave Brown lightweight foam wheels on a 16 pound Pitts. I transported the airplane in the back of my truck for about 150 miles when I moved on Sep. 10th. The wheels got flat spots on them.
This airplane has been hanging up with ropes in my bedroom. The wheels haven't touched the ground in about 3 weeks. They still have flat spots on them. They just won't puff up again and get round.
Are they ruined? Will they ever puff up again and get even remotely round? Soak them in water and then let them dry out?
