Hi!
Charging at 0.1C is the norm (that's one thenth of the nominal capacity). In your case with 2500mAh cells it's 250mah.
But ofcourse you can fast charge them with let 's say with anything between 500-1500mAh too, but it's safer to charge batteries with 0,1C.
I use my 230V, 100mAh Wall charger most of the time when I charge my NiMH cells.
Just charge and forget...more or less at least.
I try to charge every pack I have every 3-4 month at least.
