Default Set Screw or Clamp on CJ retracts?

Hi:
Wasn't sure what forum to post this, but I have a set of Century Jet 90 degree rotating retracts on my Corsair. The lower clamp has a set screw to adjust the angle of the wheels. The upper one is just on with locktite and will let the wheels turn when landing.
Thy are past the warrantee and had them back once and they just added more locktite.
Should I drill and tap this for an allen screw or cut the flange and put a screw and nut to clamp it?

Happy Flying

Tom
