Default RE: CA Glue on finger

ORIGINAL: air mail rcu

Peter, Actually thats' what CA was invented for. Or at least thats' what it was first used for.

When I cut myself I use CA Glue as a liquid Bandage. It keeps me from bleeding all over everything. I learned that trick by trial and error, if it's good enough for my plane... it's good enough for me.

Yep I had 7 prop strikes on my leg from a foamy ( lots of blood ) and working in the medical field the ca worked great for the stitches...it not come out to bad for my first time doing liquid stitches

My bad habit occasionally is cutting myself with X-acto Blade. Like they say...only a dab will do for us common surgeons! Watch that Prop, we had a guy last year loose a finger with a Glow at our club. Sorry to say he quit the Hobby, I think he would have been a great Safety Officer if he'd stayed with us. Meaning he could have showed people his hand and told people what Props could do if he or she wasn't careful.
