RE: Does anyone recognise this bird and engine?
After additional inspection the entire sheeting on the left leading edge was cracked all the way down, and verticle in 4 places. Almost all the spars in on that side in the front were cracked as well, I applied epoxy to those, carefully removed the sheeting and cleaned up the spars for sheet replacement.
The plane would fly as it was, but I prefer to limit the variables when it comes to flying. I dont have anymore pics right now just stripping the covering from the fuse, and about to tear down the engine.
The servos in the plane are fp-s23. Would these be the ones that came with that controler. They look newer than the controler, the stickers are pristine.
Finally, its been a while since I was into this, the servos have a 3 pronged connection. Are they all like this, and how hard would it be to find a battery to power them?
