RE: Need help balancing Edge 540T!!! What do these symptoms indicate?
No, this happened when traveling at about 1/3 to 1/2 throttle in level flight, then applied full elevator. 1/3 or so up elevator gave me a nice loop. Great for 'wall to hover' manuevers, but it was an extremely fast/almost violent transition to vertical. I am kind of boggled since it still decends slightly when inverted, making me think it is not tail heavy yet. However, the symptoms sound tail heavy, eg super touchy rear control surfaces. It floats in nice for landings now, and I almost tip stalled it. No down elevator needed to land. Guess I need a bit more than idle to keep it straight. I am going to try and dial in some expo, but I am confused by this. Thanks!
