Default RE: Possible Gorilla Glue substitute?

Like I said, be carful how much glue you use and how much water you kick it with. I expected it to bubble out a little bit but that was over the top.I usually tape over the joint for things like that to force the foaming action into all the nooks and crannies, especially with foam. You will need to clamp all your parts quite firmly as the cure action will actually move the parts apart.
It pays to experiment with this glue. Try using it at different room temperatures. You can also control the foaming by water spritzing during the cure time. Try several beads on just a scrap piece of cardboard, spritzing each beed differently. Hit one of the beads with your heat gun (don't get too hot) about an hour into the cure time, and watch it GROW before your eyes. After a little experimenting, you will really get a 'feel' for this glue. I started using it on coroplast planes several years ago. I've gone through a dozen 8 ounce bottles at least since then.
