RE: Air Hogs Aero Ace!
I just got my light mods from djstinger. Wow does it work great. I soldered them directly to the battery as instructed. It comes with a very tiny plastic part that completes the circuit otherwise the lights would always be on. Without the plastic part, the lights are off. With the plastic part on, the lights are on. Here are some pics. I know I never really found any close up pics of this mod. I only saw videos of people flying with the mod. I used my cell phone so the pics aren't the best quality. I installed them so the leds stick out of the fuse rather than them being on the inside of the fuse. I'm not sure how everyone else is doing it. The mod really doesn't noticeably effect flight times.
