RE: CCLee J-3 Cub, advice needed
Grandad, I would not go with the 480, it hs been tryed and is just too heavy, I have found that a geared set up is the best option for the cub, the 370 geared set up for the PZ cub is a good drop in, you can bolt the gearbox right to the firewall and run a 8X4 prop and have plenty of power, if you go with a 400 which realy is the same as the 380 you will be right where you are now. I suggest you go to the park back yard flyers forum and look up the Shun Da J-3 thread, there are many people flying all the J-3 there and lots of info as to mods and upgrades, and advise
