Modding Futaba 9C Super Timer Volume
I know that the time volume beeps are not adjustable via programming in the 9C Super (or any Futaba radio other than the 14mhz). My hearing is excellent, and there is a definite flaw in this particular feature that will hopefully be addressed in the future either with new programming or with a different beeper. For those of us with current Futaba radios, does anyone know of a mod that would work to fix this problem? Is there a different beeper that could be soldered on or some other fix here that might solve the problem? I know there are lots of electrical engineers on these forums, so I'm sure there is a relatively simple fix for this (although it might void one's warranty). If anyone has any suggestions, I'd like to hear them.
