Laptop RC car/truck
I want to make a robot using an RC car/truck as a base. My goal is to place a Tablet PC on top of the car/truck chassis and connect a servo controller directly to the Tablet’s USB port. I am going to use WiFi and a camera for navigation.
I am pretty good with the software side – I am a software engineer. However, I have never built, modified, or hacked an RC car/truck.
Can someone recommend a kit, model, components that would be pretty easy for a beginner? The ones at the store look like they were not made to be customized.
Does anyone know of a good RC car/truck store in the Boston area?
