I just sold my Ham equipment - which worked perfectly all on 53.xx I am KA7PON -a licensed operator.
I went to - exclusively 2.4 -equipment
Why?
The 2.4 DX7 is simply -to me a huge advance in greatly simplified reliability and faster information transfer.
Would I use 72 anymore ?
Not on your tintype dearie - Tha advent of dip sh-its who have zippo knowledge of risks and less about flying -who will also have 72 equipment available for nothing or next to nothing - makes it the crapshoot of the century.
