If I remove my transmitter battery will I lose all my data? Does my radio have a lithium battery to store all my programming, or how is this data stored? Do I need to service this memory in any way?
For memory storage your radio uses permanent EEPROM memory and does not have a lithium battery. Only the 9Z and 14MZ series radios have Lithium back up batteries. Your transmitter battery may be removed safely for storage, cycling, or other reasons without loss of data.
