RE: Tower receivers
If you remove the stickers on any of the system 3000 Tower radio gear it will show a futaba part number same with the hobbico gear. The main difference from the futaba and tower stuff is tower is the bottom shelf stock. It's all within spec and you'll more than likely never notice a difference put the QC is not as stringent. Also the system 2000 stuff is mainly hitec gear.
The TH receiver will now be like the 168 since futaba quit making the 127 they’ve now run out of stock to supply towers components so Tower needed to update their line as well.
