RE: Team OMP Presents the Boxxer ARF!
Final steps:
1: Assemble and mount the fuel tank with your preferred method. The supplied cable ties are shown here. Keeping the tank near the CG will minimize the CG shift, as the tank drains during flight.
2: The Boxxer ARF includes Carbon Fiber control horns. To use them, first scuff up the contact point of the horn with sandpaper. Second, cut a small slot, in an appropriate location. Use CA to install the horn, allowing plenty of time for the CA to wick into the balsa fibers. The rudder horn is shown here.
3: Install the aileron interconnect horns by measuring 10.25 inches from the outboard tip of the aileron at the trailing edge, and mark that location. Center the horn so that the horn points to the rear of the aileron, and the pivot holes are over the trailing edge. One set of horns will go on the underside of the top aileron, and the second set will go on the top of the lower aileron. The longer two of the supplied push rods are for this connection.
