Default F4U Corsair compatibility question

Hi,

I'm planning on buying the F4U Corsair (park flyer) model, but need some advice on the required ESC. Here's the setup I was thinking of: (as recommended by the [link=http://manuals.hobbico.com/gpm/gpma1157-manual.pdf]online manual of the F4U Corsair[/link])

- kit: [link=http://www.electrifly.com/parkflyers/gpma1157.html]F4U Corsair ARF model[/link]
- motor: (it already includes a 280 motor) Graupner 300-size 7.2V motor
- ESC: Robbe RSC 110 LIPO (can be found on [link=http://at.robbe-online.net/rims_at.storefront/45f7a71500139b36271b3e0dc1460650/UserTemplate/1/?ISID=45f7a71500139b36271b3e0dc1460650]this[/link] website, just go to: Electric accessories > Electronic switches and controllers > for model aircraft > RSC 110 LIPO)
- Battery: Graupner LiPo 2/1500 7,4V bec

- RX: Futaba R-114 F Micro Reciever
- servo's: 2 x Futaba Micro Servo S3108

The thing is: The ESC needs to have a LiPo cut-off fuction I assume, but also a bec funtion and be compatible with the 1500mah 2-cell LiPo battery. This ESC seemed like the obvious choice, but I want to be 100% sure. (side note: the LiPo battery also has a bec function, ... euhm, what's that all about ? How does that work ?)

thx,
