ahmm....It's a semi-scale model of an airplane that was purpose built for racing in a class that didn't allow retracts. In general the full size aircraft had a minimum weight of 500 lbs., 66 sq ft of wing area, and the same engine size and brand, being a 190 ci Continental. Goodyear sponsored the event for three years, so it was known as Goodyear Racing and later Formula One. Later they changed to the O-200 Continental, same engine in zillions of Cessna 150's.
