RE: 424 racing in SW MO
update to this thread. We are going to race the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the months during Daylight Savings Time. Pylons go up at 5:00 for trial runs, pick up races and individual records. We are using a 2-pole course, and racing according to 424 rules, using an unmodified TT pro .40 with baffle and APC 9X6 prop. on 15% nitro. So far, we have some interest in the club and some help with flags, but still needs to be developed. Reason for Tuesdays is that we do not fill the field with pylons or hog the field during prime flying times, but can set aside the field for two hours two times a month on an off night.
