hi tom . splitting the difference is exactly what i would do . 3/16 really is nothing for a plane of this size IMO . still love the look of the gear doors . i am waiting for hinge pockets however if it rains all weekend like its supose to i'm gonna get on it . could you tell me if your outer door scaled out ok . it seems to me on mine the hinge point is quite a ways past the strut . with wheels down the door leans down and inward to the hub , but scale it looks like it should be hinged just past it so the door runs more parallel with the strut ??? what did you do ? pics with gear down??
