Micro Recievor Help?!?!?!?
Here are the weights of some very good receivers with their antenna and xtal installed.
FMA M5 Rx: 0.39oz
Berg 4*DSP MicroStamp Rx: 0.25oz
Plantraco DSP4-SC Rx+ESC: 0.35oz
The first two are pretty well known, the last one is a new. In the list above, only the M5 is dual conversion but both of the others handle interference so well that single conversion is not a disadvantage any more. If one turns the tx off first or hooks up the battery to the rx before the tx, the servos won't go crazy. It comes with a built in 10A ESC, very aggressively priced (~$65 shipped w/ xtal + rx/esc), great service. Ezone has a good thread on it, I wonder why it isn't here. I got a couple soon after it was available and am very happy with mine, an excellent deal for the price.
