RE: My homemade rc car
For the body, I am just going to have a rollcage with pieces of aluminium plate rivitted onto it - much like the sand-rail type buggies.
I am not going to have any rear suspension because it makes the car more difficult to build (I only have basic tools: cordless drill, files and a hack saw). To compensate for having no rear suspension I have tried to keep the weight down as low as possible.
Once this project is finished I will be converting my thunder tiger nitro buggy to petrol powered, because the engine on it has siezed and I don't want to waste all my money re-building it. Soon I will have some progress pictures of that project uploaded too.
