Trollmaster:

You need to get togeather with some of the giant raceing crowd. There are several gas (alki) engines that they have going like crazy, say 175 or more. Talking about some of their single cylender engines, not the huge Hurbranson ex drone engine form WWII that start at around $3700.00. Their big stuff I understand is doing 240 or so with apparently more on tap. GP's latest stuff like "Little Tony, Showstrings, Cermarks Alley Cat all missed the speed mark, were designed as a sport airplane, and were good looking sport models that fly like a sport model is intended (dogish). AS YOU WILL SOON DISCOVER. SPEED =$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Do your research, there are good reasonable engines out there, your radio gear needs to be adequate. Nothing like going like crazy and having a slow elevator servo not up to the task. Keep us posted on the build, if I hear anything about a good hot gas engine, will let you know. Above all ENJOY
