There are NOT extra 330's overseas, they are in fact extra 300's
with factory mods to the purchasers wishes.
I believe the hinge lines were changed on the stab and rudder for greater authority for "freestyle" type flying along with IO540
lycomings.
The 330 logo was as the result of someone "adding" the logo to thier Extra , according to my info, was probably due to the power rating of the engine upgrade.
