RE: RC Guys Super Decathlon coming
The finish of the WH Decathlon is definitely better........Tower Hobbies has some products made by Fourmost Airplane Accessories that may help finish that windshield. The Window Flange and the U-Trim are both of interest. When I was finishing my Giant Stinger I needed some canopy trim to make the cockpit assembly look decent. I found this stuff in the TH catalog but there weren't pictures good enough to really see what the stuff was.........so I ordered some of each..........its in the shop on the wall just waiting.
I bet the window flange is perfect to make that windshield look like it should be there....
I won't know for sure till the Decathlon arrives and I get a chance to evaluate it, but the Fourmost stuff should be something to keep in mind if you don't like the windshield fit.
