do you mainly build or buy?
I design all the airplanes that I fly - and build from scratch. At first they were regular size planes, then 1/4 scale, and now the smallest one that I have is 1/3 scale. Am presently building a 40% J-3 Cub, 14.5 ft. span. I started building in 1937, and have never taken a leave of absence. Attached is a photo of my 30% scale Stinson SR-10 with a 13.5 ft. span. I am a good pilot, but I would rather build than fly.
