Default RE: Q-Tee Build Thread

In the past I've never been able to get a perfect needle setting for both full power and good idle, the needle setting has always needed to be a compromise. Any ideas why the Norvel .074 throttles so nicely? Might have to do with the perfect seal it has between the muffler and the case. A perfect seal at the carb is also helpful. I say it is time to do a thorough cleaning and take care of those details with some of the wonderful glue products that are out there. The engine mount bolts on the muffler side can always be inserted from the bottom if you have the muffler permanently attached.

Adding dihedral seems like the least invasive way to turn that plane into an aerobatic machine. They'll roll very well with just a rudder. I've suspected that the rudders were kind of puny, compared with similar sized R/E planes that I've flown. Make sure that the CG is as far back as you would like, also.
