RE: 1/2A or .10 Shrike for MVVS .15?
I can't speak first hand about the Shrikes. What I can tell you is that if you use HS 65 servos, 300 mah nimh battery, Berg RX, 2 oz tank, and a 6.5 oz engine, it is possible to come up with a RTF plane that weighs in the low 20 oz range. Base your wing loading on that. I'll bet a 1/2A Shrike can accomodate that much weight, but the better all around flyer will still be the .10 sized bird. I just finished building a similar setup, but with a fat wing and it is a blast.
