keep in mind the losi radio only uses 4AAs rather than 6, so the radio signal is not as strong as the traditional spektrums; however, my point may be moot if compared to the nomadio, which uses 4AAs aswell, and outranges the DSM system. Also, i believe the radio uses DSM2, like the Blade CX2 and their new transmitters such as the dx3r, which also use 4AA's instead of 8
