Most good transmitters have a trim which have no effect at full throttle, only in the idle posision. This is what I am used to. But maybe some "toytransmitters" have trims which works even at full throttle...? Sounds like yours do.

Most (not all) ESCs have a autodetect which set the full-throttle value at startup. You hear a beep when you connect it, then gives full gass and the ESC reads the value, and then you throttle back to arm it all.

Jeti Spin ESCs have the ability to be programmed setting the actual pulsewidth from transmitter which is full and no throttle. These values can be read using the programming box which can show the pulsewidths...

There are differences between the brands when it comes to pulsewidth, and how much 100% is. In fact there are also differences in what is defined as midpulse
