One other thing to consider is the size of receiver that you need. If you're a sport flier then you probably only need a 6 channel receiver max and ex link isn't going to have any full range receivers available other than the PFs (as far as they've stated). The 8 channel receivers are $100/pop... kind of expensive for setting up several 40 size planes.
I think that whoever comes out with a $50 6 channel full range receiver is going to own the market...
Good points, a couple of my planes only need 5 channels, 4+battery. And the cheapest jr pcm receiver is 100.00 for a 7 channel so the first guys to make a 6 ch at around 50 i think will own the market. I would like it to be a 7ch though for dual elevator and aileron servos.
