RE: DL50 props and RPM
All numbers on a Slimline Pitts muffler.
660 Feet ASL (Markham, Ontario)
All numbers were without adjusting the needles after pulling it out of the box.
First run ever - Revolution 22 x 8, 7000 RPM
This prop picked up 350 more RPM after 5 ten minute runs.
Run #6 was with a PT model 23 x 8, 6700 RPM (probably needed to tweak the needles for this bigger prop...changed it after 1 flight)
Run #7 through #8 with NX 22 x 8. 7100 RPM. This, in my opinion gave the best performance of the three props.
The motor is still picking up power after 9 flights.
