Default Throttle Servo Hook-up

So I have some really basic questions on hooking up the throttle servo on my 1/5 FG MB-pro since there are no real instructions on how to do this.

My questions are as follows.

Is there supposed to be tension on the return spring on the throttle pushrod?
If so, how much?
I noticed that once I hooked up the throttle pushrod to the servo the return spring on the engine is not enough to fully close the throttle. Does this mean there is some binding or something?
Would you just use the fail safe from the radio (Nomadio React) to close the throttle and engage the brake if something were to go wrong?

How do you set up the brake pushrod?
Is the brake supposed to be fully locked when the servo is at neutral?
It seems if you have the brake setup to use travel once the throttle pushrod is closed then you will have some binding of the linkage... Sorry for that explaination.

Again, sorry for the basic questions.
