Default RE: Any Ideas on a good kit cutter

khodges

I like building from plans but these ribs are a night mare to cut. Where the spar goes, there is only one in the wing, through the ribs. It starts off as 1/4 inch by 1 1/2 ply and tappers to 1/4 at the tip. There is only 1/8 inch of rib on the top and bottom of the hole that is cut in each rib for the spar. And thus one slip you break the rib. Kind of hard to explain, but seeing the plan would show what I mean. I hope they could either cut as plan or change to top and bottom spars. By the way the plans are blue print kind. Also ribs are shown full size laying on the wing plan from center to tip with bottom of rib lined up where it build from. I built a lot of 1/4 scale and up but this one I love the plane , but I don't want to do all that cutting
