Default Futaba 9c radios and their color
I currently using two Futaba 6xa transmitters and would like to upgrade to one of Futaba's 9c radios.

In researching at Tower Hobbies (which uses incorrect pictures), I noticed that some of their 9c transmitters have a gold tint on the face and some have a silver face. What determines which color is which? Is the Super series the determining factor? Is it whether it comes with the PCM/PPM reciever? Airplane versus helicopter? 75 mhz? Synthesized?

What exactly determines if it has a gold or silver face?
