I discovered a while back that it's really tough to control a model you can't see. Part of the reason Giant Scale models got as popular as they did! About the time in your life you can afford nice equipment...you can't see anything smaller than 200" in span.
Ain't that the truth...
I had a discussion with one of the younger guys at our club the other day about the models being hard to see in certain situations. He said something to the effect of "what do you mean? It's right there!" To which I replied "yeah I can see it, I just can't tell what it's DOING!"
