Does anyone else get this feeling on take-off?
I agree with Chuck....the only thing that really worries me at take off (unless it is the first take off with a new plane) is the knowledge that I will have to land at some point in the not too distant future...If only I could have auto pilot for landing, I would be a GREAT pilot...and would never have to worry...All I hear in my head when I'm on final is a quote from Top Gun..."...time to do some of that pilot $&it Mav..."And now that I think of it, my landings sometimes resemble Couger after he freaked out...ok, ok So I've seen Top Gun a FEW times...if it has or is about planes, I've seen it...I also grew up in San Diego right next to Miramar and got to watch parts of that movie being filmed as well as constantly being around the planes...I digress...take offs are ok...landings cause MAJOR pucker!!!
